My Philosophy
Every artist is on their own unique creative journey. There is no single path or formula for success.
My mentorship is designed for artists who already have some painting experience and are ready to take their creative practice or art career further.
We begin by getting clear on where you are, where you want to go, and what’s standing in your way.
From there, we create a personalized experience around your individual goals, whether that’s developing your painting skills, experimenting with new approaches, finding your artistic voice, or navigating the business side of being an artist.
Through a combination of conversation, practical guidance, creative exploration, and honest feedback, my goal is to help you develop greater clarity, confidence, and trust in your own decisions.
I believe that growing as an artist is about more than developing technical skills. The creative process can also be a powerful pathway to personal growth, healing, and transformation. As we experiment, let go of perfection, and learn to trust our instincts, we begin to discover not only what’s possible on the canvas, but within ourselves.

Ways to Work Together
One-on-One Artist Mentorship
60 minutes | $125 CAD + GST
90 minutes | $175 CAD + GST
Available online or in person at my studio in Powell River, BC.
Personalized one-on-one sessions dedicated to your individual artistic goals, challenges, and aspirations.
Whether you’re looking to explore new painting techniques, receive feedback on your artwork, work through creative challenges, develop greater confidence in your artistic decisions, or navigate the business side of being an artist, our time together will focus on what matters most to you.
Choose a 60-minute session for focused guidance or a 90-minute session for more in-depth exploration, discussion, and hands-on demonstrations.
My intention is for you to leave feeling supported, encouraged, and empowered, with fresh perspectives, greater clarity, and meaningful next steps.
Sessions can stand on their own or serve as a starting point for ongoing mentorship, with no further commitment required.
Three-Month Artist Mentorship
Ongoing personalized guidance for artists ready to grow.
Introductory Rate: $600 CAD + GST
Pay in full or in three monthly installments of $200 + GST.
Available online or in person at my studio in Powell River, BC.
Meaningful artistic growth takes time, experimentation, reflection, and a willingness to explore beyond what’s familiar.
This three-month mentorship offers the opportunity to work together more consistently, with personalized guidance that supports both your artistic development and personal growth.
Together, we’ll identify your goals, explore what’s holding you back, and create an approach that supports your individual journey.
Rather than following a predetermined curriculum, our work will evolve with you, allowing space to experiment, develop your skills, deepen your creative expression, and build greater confidence in your own artistic decisions.
What’s Included
Three private 60-minute mentorship sessions (one per month)
Three 45-minute progress check-ins (one per month)
Personalized creative exercises or practical assignments to explore between sessions
Painting demonstrations, technique exploration, artwork reviews, and constructive feedback based on your individual goals
Guidance on artistic development, creative direction, or the business side of art
A flexible, collaborative approach that evolves with your progress
Between sessions, you’ll have opportunities to apply what we’ve explored, experiment independently, and reflect on your progress. Our check-ins provide space to discuss discoveries, work through challenges, and adjust your direction as needed.
My intention is to help you strengthen your skills, trust your creative instincts, and develop the confidence and independence to move forward on your own artistic path.

Schedule your session. We’ll find a time that works for both of us and confirm your booking with payment.
Share your creative journey. Before our first session, I’ll send you a short questionnaire to learn more about your artistic experience, goals, and artwork.

Booking & Cancellation Policy
Booking & Payment
Individual mentorship sessions are paid in full at the time of booking.
For the three-month mentorship, you can choose to pay in full or in three monthly installments. Enrollment is a commitment to the full three-month program.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
I understand that life happens! If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice.
Rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, will generally result in the session being forfeited and counted as used.
I understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, and exceptions may be made for illness or emergencies.
If I need to reschedule, we’ll arrange another time that works for both of us at no additional charge. If I’m unable to provide a session, a refund will be offered.
I believe in approaching mentorship with flexibility, open communication, and mutual respect. All policies are subject to applicable consumer protection rights.
